Wow! Two years have passed since my last update....
I won't lie; it has been a struggle the last four years since I lost my main mental health support 'person'(those who know, know...)... In the meantime, I am unable to say when I'll be back to making things. I am currently just overwhelmed with my day to day life. Cheers....

Wow! What an unexpected year it has been due to a global pandemic. So many sales and events cancelled and an overwhelming sense of fear of the unknown. Let me tell you it has not been a great year for me to try and establish my business! However, within the darkness there is a bit of brightness starting to shine through. The annual Studio Tour still went on and gave me a mental boost after a long creative withdrawal! Cheers!

With two shows under my belt now this year so far I'm starting to get into the groove again after the winter break. I have one more show to go this month and then I'm planning on working fully on a few works of art that I've been planning out these past few months and hope to have a couple of them ready for the Studio Tour in September! I made my first Etsy sale as Little Chickens Studio! Exciting start to the New Year! I have started booking events for this year so they will be added to the list above as I receive confirmations. In the meantime I will be busy doing inventory, taking pictures and cataloging existing items while I also block off time to make new pieces for upcoming markets. I'm back in my studio and working on inventory for my first event since the studio tour in 2018. I'm sorry to have been away for such a long time but I am working on getting back into the swing of things! My focus most recently has been silversmithing and ceramics along with a few other side projects. I hope to have a selection of new work with me on November 2 at the Pembina Hills Art Council Annual Holiday Craft Sale that will be held at the Access Event Centre in Morden, MB.
